Epic Torch Terms of Use
Terms
Agreement
Effective date: September 13, 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and Syntax Circus, LLC ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of the Epic Torch app. By using Epic Torch you agree to them. If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and if the two conflict, Apple's terms control for the matters they cover.
Eligibility and license
You must be at least 13 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission if you are under the age of majority where you live. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use Epic Torch for your own non-commercial entertainment. The app is licensed, not sold, and all rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile or try to extract the source code of the app (except where the law allows), not to circumvent or interfere with the purchase and entitlement systems, and not to use the app for any unlawful purpose.
Purchases, previews and refunds
The Classic torch is free. Mage, Cyberpunk, Steampunk, Lighter and Candle are one-time, non-consumable purchases, and we also offer a bundle. There are no subscriptions. Prices are shown in your local currency by the app store.
You can try any locked torch for 15 seconds before buying. When the preview ends, the torch locks again until you purchase it.
Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and verified through RevenueCat. Refunds and cancellations are governed by the store's policies, and we do not process or guarantee refunds ourselves. If you reinstall the app or change phones, tap Restore in the torch collection drawer to reattach your purchases.
Flashlight, camera and safety
Epic Torch requests camera permission only to control your phone's flash LED. The flame you see on screen is an animation, not a real fire. Do not rely on the app as a safety or emergency light, and do not use it in situations where a dependable light source is needed. Extended use with the LED on can warm your device.
Availability and disclaimer
Epic Torch is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to Epic Torch will not exceed the greater of (a) what you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim or (b) US$100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages.
Changes and termination
We may modify, suspend or discontinue Epic Torch or any part of it at any time. We may update these Terms by posting the new version here with a revised effective date, and continued use after that means you accept them.
Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Utah.
