About Syntax Circus

Syntax Circus LLC builds practical software experiences, educational content, and maintainable web systems.

Our Focus

Syntax Circus is currently focused on three primary areas: advancing a portfolio of practical open-source tools (currently in private development and preparing for public release), publishing a comprehensive guide to sustainable software engineering practices, and delivering a full-featured entertainment mobile application that demonstrates end-to-end system design.

Our goal is to create resources and software that help engineers and teams write code with confidence and clarity, informed by decades of real-world experience.

About Jon Seeley

Jon Seeley is a software engineer and founder of Syntax Circus with over twenty years of professional experience across diverse industries including finance, insurance, retail, and technology. He has been writing code since the early days of .NET 1.0 and has held roles spanning from senior engineer to technical leadership. Over his career, Jon has learned to balance technical rigor with practical business constraints — and to never underestimate the human side of building software systems.

His writing at seeleycoder.com explores both the technical and human aspects of software engineering, from ASP.NET Core internals to the soft skills and decision-making patterns that shape careers and teams.
